Our results were within the margin of error for a volunteer sample of participants and showed that our results and the official results are similar.
At the 10 sites, 62% of 10,708 voters participated in our exit polls. The participation rate ranged from 78% in Santa Monica to 40% in Glendale. All but Glendale had participation rates above 50%.
Our citizens’ exit polls were part of a national effort in more than 8 states. Of the 33 exit polls conducted, we did 10 of them here in Los Angeles. We can be proud of our efforts.
